Purchase of a Removal House: Once a client decides to purchase, a contract for the purchase of the removal house is entered into. Our removal homes are sold subject to Council approval for the re-siting of the house, and site accessibility. The whole process is carefully explained to the buyer, including explanation of Council processes including Council bonds and permits etc.
Council Applications: Generally, there are two applications to be considered by Council. The first application allows the Council to consider the project on its merits, and to set a performance bond. Once this is obtained, then a Building Application and Plumbing Application are submitted.
Building Inspections and Pest Inspections: It is the responsibility of the buyer to satisfy themselves that they are making an informed decision, therefore we have no objection to buyers arranging independent inspections before purchasing.
